Network rail are always looking at ways to educate young people about the dangers of messing around on the railway.
We have a new campaign called Travel Safe Travel Smart, and we are going to be rolling this out at Sandwich Railway Station from Monday 20th November until Friday 24th November 2017.
Network Rail and Southeastern will be at Sandwich railway station from 14:45 till 16:00 handing out leaflets and engaging with all students, talking to them about staying safe on and around the railway.
Most parents and guardians are unaware of the dangers connected with the railway, so we are also going to be encouraging the students to pass the leaflet onto them to read.
And you never know they also may learn some new information that they can pass onto others.
