In June, a group of Year 8 students went to the University of Kent to attend the World Languages Day.
Students had the opportunity to attend a variety of language workshops which included Arabic, Dutch, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian and Mandarin, through activities such as dance, puppetry, art and storytelling.
One of the students said: “I thought that the languages trip was great because it taught me all about different traditions and languages that I have never learnt before. It was a fun educational experience and I would definitely recommend to others.”
