Pathway 1: A Levels and Applied General Qualifications – This is a Level 3 programme that will prepare you for university or employment. It is made up by taking 3 A Levels or 3 Applied General Qualifications, or a blend of both. To access this pathway you will need to have 5 GCSE passes (Grade C or Grade 4 or higher) and for some subjects a grade B or grade 5 or higher is required. You will study a programme that can be tailored to meet your interests and future aspirations and will give you the best chance of academic success. The A Level programme is a 2 year linear programme with examinations at the end of study.

Pathway 2: Transition Year – We are proud of the breadth of opportunities that are available to our 6th Form students. Our curriculum offer recognises that some of you need further time and support to broaden your Level 2 range of qualifications before you are ready to realise your potential and study Level 3 courses. Our Transition Year allows you to study a suite of new and exciting GCSE courses during Year 12. These will equip you with the depth of understanding and knowledge required to progress to A Level, applied courses or even Apprenticeships in Years 13 and 14.

Pathway 3: Foundation Year – This is a Level 2 pathway that supports you in bridging the gap between your studies in year 11 and our Level 3 pathway. This pathway consists of a range of Level 2 vocational subjects.

Pathway 4: The Football Academy: This is a route for those wishing to pursue a career in the world of sport and fitness. A clear focus on development of football alongside a range of other sports and

fitness based courses. Most students in the football academy follow a full time sports course; however, you can combine a sport route in the football academy with other Level 3 courses if needed. If this is your preferred option please speak to Mr Owen when applying.

You will have a one-to-one interview to offer you guidance on your choices and confirm you suitability for you chosen courses. The Football Academy will normally ask you to attend a training session before offering you a place.
