Chair of the Learning and Development Team
I joined Cummins in 1998, starting as a Manufacturing Apprentice. I have since held various roles, gaining extensive experience in Mechanical Design, Product Structure, Product Configuration, Product Lifecycle Management and Technical New Product Introduction. I currently have Product Line Engineering accountability for the VTA28-QSK78 (600kVA to 3000kVA) range of diesel generators. My role was expanded in 2015 and I am now Global Segment Technical Leader (Prime Power and HHP Rental).
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Greenwich and am currently studying towards an MSc in Global Product Development and Management at Cranfield University.
I am a keen STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) ambassador and enjoy working with future engineers of all ages and engaging in and promoting inspiring activities. I joined STS as a Community Governor in 2012 and currently chair the Learning and Development Team.
In my spare time I enjoy crafting, following Formula 1 racing, walking and travel. More recently, a safari to the Masai Mara in Kenya has sparked an interest in wildlife photography.
