Pupil Premium & Catch Up Funding

The Government gives extra funding to schools - called 'Pupil Premium' - to help children from lower income families to do their very best. For every child registered for Free School Meals, our annual funding increases by £935. With this money we can continue to improve our students' learning experience and achievement.

To check whether or not you are eligible for Free School Meals visit the KCC website:

https://www.kent.gov.uk/education-and-children/schools/free-school-meals Alternatively call 08458 247 247, select option 2 and state your National Insurance number and date of birth. The operator will inform you there and then if your child is entitled to receive Free School Meals. Registering for Free School Meals will not affect any other benefits you are claiming. If you are eligible, please register as soon as possible to make sure your child and others in our school do not miss out on this vital funding.  Registering is quick and easy, using the following form:

Free School Meals Application Form Once you are registered, your child will be entitled to a free meal at lunchtime and we will receive an extra £600 to further support the education of our students. If you would prefer your child not to have a free meal, they are welcome to continue as normal; however, providing you are registered, we will still receive the extra funding.
