Come and take part in the ‘STS Coronation Big Help Out’.  You are probably aware that King Charles, as part of his Coronation, is encouraging people to undertake some volunteering in the community.

The Big Help Out | Home

Sandwich Technology School wanted to do something.  Therefore, we are organising a community litter pick on Monday the 8th of May, followed by tea and cake.  It will start at 9.30am, and finish by 11am.  For those who would like to join in, the idea is that we do something for the local community, refuel with a slice of something delicious, and then go and enjoy the rest of the Coronation bank holiday knowing that we have done our bit towards the Big Help Out.

This invitation is open to our students, staff, governors, parents, siblings, children… In other words, anyone who would like to come along as long as they are accompanied by somebody who either attends the school, is a member of staff or a governor.  We hope it will be a pleasant hour and a half of doing something worthwhile with friends and/or family.  However, if children who are not STS students come along, they must be accompanied by an adult who will be responsible for their supervision.

The school will provide litter picking equipment, with the help of Dover District Council who are supporting this event.

If you are interested in coming to help, please complete the following google form:https://forms.gle/iZVTxvtWZtm1fVs97

Mrs Savage will be there and it would be lovely to see you if you and/or your child wish to join in.
