Year 10 CCCU Sports Science Visit

On Wednesday 21^st June, Mr Hood and Mr Cadby’s Year 10 Sport Science classes visited the Nutrition department at Canterbury Christ Church University.  The trip supported the students understanding of Nutrition which they are currently studying as part of their course. 

The day involved a presentation by the lead Nutritionist who previously worked at Real Madrid as the nutritionist for the ladies football team! 

The students also had the opportunity to have a tour around the state of the art Sports Laboratory and view some of the brand new equipment such as the anti-gravity treadmill and the altitude chamber, needless to say the students were impressed! 

All in all it was an excellent trip and the students represented the school superbly.
