At Sandwich Technology School, students are expected to attend school daily unless there is an unavoidable reason not to do so. We recognise that it can be tricky deciding whether or not to keep your child off school when they're unwell, but there are Government guidelines for schools that say when children should be kept off school and when they shouldn't. Short-term illness or long-term medical conditions can require medication and there are specific protocols that STS must follow to ensure that we meet safety standards in relation to our acceptance, storage, administration and disposal of medication.
