Sandwich Technology School is committed to promoting healthy eating and good nutrition to benefit the health and well-being of our students.
In the School Restaurant we use high-quality, local, fresh ingredients. Fruit and vegetables are supplied by Foodari from Ashford, who pride themselves on sourcing local products, and all of our meat products come from our local butcher, Rook & Sons.
In addition to our six-week menu cycle, we offer a salad bar, jacket potatoes with various fillings, homemade soup and a wide selection of sandwiches, tortillas, plaits, khobez flat bread, baguettes and rolls, with at least 56 combinations of fillings.
Fresh fruit salad is available as a daily alternative to the main dessert. Only vegetable oil and olive oil are used in our recipes - we do not use animal fats.
Our Restaurant is supplemented by a covered, outside eating area which is served by our mobile catering unit. Here we serve a selection of hot pasta dishes, curries, noodles, hot and cold filled baguettes, soup and fruit drinks.
