National Careers Week

Last week, we celebrated National Careers Week, we enjoyed assemblies from The Army, the NHS, and the Police about careers in these industries.
Year 8 students had an introduction to university from the University of Kent, and our Year 9 students heard about the many different creative careers available from the University of the Creative Arts. Finally the our Year 11 year group heard about identifying skills and learning what skills are need for employment.
Throughout the week, careers were also promoted in each subject for each year group.
All in all a very successful celebrations of careers at STS!
