Sandwich Technology School is proud of the GCSE achievements today. Our Year 11 students have shown excellent character during their time at STS and the results reflect the hard work, dedication and resilience that each individual has shown. Several subject areas saw grades improve compared to 2024 “We are especially pleased with improved results in Science and some spectacular results in Creative subjects.” Mr Sharples, Headteacher.

There were some outstanding individual performances:

Tommy Watts achieved nine GCSEs including two Grade 9s and three Grade 8s

Mason Andrew also secured nine GCSEs including three Grade 8s and three Grade 7s

Amy Li achieved ten GCSE qualifications at Grade 5 and above including two Grade 9s

Emily Amos achieved eight GCSEs at Grade 5 and above including two Grade 9s  and a Grade 8

Alfie Jones secured nine GCSEs at Grade 6 or higher including Grade 8s in French and History

Jess Aitchison achieved eight GCSEs at Grade 5 or higher including one 9 and one 7

Ollie Price achieved nine GCSEs at Grade 5 or higher including three Grade 7s

Tom Wilmshurst achieved eight GCSEs at Grade 5 or higher including three Grade 7s

Daisy Rayner achieved nine GCSEs at Grade 5 or higher including a Grade 9 and a Grade 7

Lara Hopkins achieved nine GCSEs at Grade 5 or higher including two Grade 7s

Roxanne Gunner achieved eight GCSEs at Grade 5 or higher including a Grade 9 and a Grade 7

Oliver Allin secured eight GCSEs at Grade 5 or higher including two Grade 7s and five Grade 6s

The school is extremely proud of the commitment that this cohort have shown in order to achieve the results needed for the next steps of their journey.

We look forward to seeing what they achieve in the coming years and are delighted that many of the students are joining our sixth form next year.
